(1911 Urena x 1953 Daletas)

The main vine of this plant had a very unique characteristic. Every leaf node varied between being normal, or having double/triple of everything (roots, flowers, tendrils, secondaries). Secondaries were all normal. This plant only occupied about 600 square feet when it was healthy and was affected by both squash vine borers and fungal disease which killed off most of the plant. The mother seed (1911 Urena) has produced 6 pumpkins over 2000 pounds, including the 2018 North American record (2528 Geddes). The pollinator (1953 Daletas) has produced several pumpkins over 2000 pounds, as well as Scott St Laurent’s 1959 which went 22% heavy!
